We like Hannah & Zee a lot. Why? Well, this beaut bride is a pastry chef, so when it came to creating her very own wedding cake one simply wasn’t enough. Their four cakes have to be just about our favourite detail, alongside the Larsen Jewellery rings and terracotta blooms by one of our all-time faves, The Lillipillian. THE VIBE “The main four things we wanted for our wedding was everyone having a great time, a chill vibe, good food and lots of alcohol. I chose the colours terracotta and burnt orange because it was something a little different at the time, had a great summer vibe and is also really classic.”
THE VENUE “We had heard great things about Watson’s Bay and we wanted a summer vibe, chilled, kick back feel to our wedding and this ticked all our boxes with the budget, food etc. We only really looked at one other venue in person and then just looked at a handful online.”
FAVOURITE DETAILS “Definitely the cake table with the flower installation and neon sign! We wrote our own vows to each other and for the food, we had a family-style/ banquet vibe.”
FAVOURITE MOMENT “Some of my favourite memories from the day would be walking down the aisle. You feel like the whole world slows down! Both zee and I would also say our vows that we wrote for each other and the flash dance Zee and his groomsman did for me.”
A TOUCH OF TRADITION “Because Zee’s background is Nigerian, we wanted to honour his culture by wearing some traditional African outfits at the reception and did a traditional Nigerian dance with the throwing of the money.”
