Say a sweet hello to Leah and Bryn, dear readers. They have wooed us with their fun-loving wedding at a friend’s property in Pauanui, featuring cool AF stationery and signage designed by the bride herself, gorg pearl earrings from Amelie George Bridal and snaps by the talented Ana Galloway –  you know what to do to see more, folks! Scroll on down…

THE INSPO “A lot of colour to show-off our fun, positive and silly sides. Disco balls to reflect our love for a good old party. Film cameras because we love snapping photos to savour our memories. Epic signage because, as a designer, I knew I could make this cool AF. We didn’t overthink, ‘oh do these bits and pieces go together?’, instead it was more ‘does this give Bryn and Leah energy? If yes, we locked it in.”

THE DRESS “A moment for the dress! Trish Peng is an absolute weapon and she made my dream come true. I had been to 3 different fittings and Trish was lucky number 4. I tried on one of her off the rack dresses and there was something about it I loved, but Trish and I being two talkative creatives, started chatting and next minute we’d designed a semi-custom gorgeous dress that I just knew I had to go through with. Above budget but f*ck it. Worth every penny because I looked fire.”

FAVE DEETS “Our welcome sign is right up there. It said ‘Welcome to Leah’s wedding. Feat. Bryn’ – safe to say our guests absolutely loved it. The two old-school cars created such a vibe, too.”

MEMORABLE MOMENT “Our first dance is one of the best. My mum is a well known singer in New Zealand and she had re-written the lyrics to Mr Jones and Me. This was brilliant because Jones is my new last name. I grew up a dancer, so two of my old dancing friends choreographed a dance for Bryn and I. It had lifts, kisses, butt slaps and so many groovy dance moves and honestly it was SO SO FUNNY and FUN.”

STANDOUT VENDOR “Our photographer Ana and cinematographer Flatroc Films take the cake. I have never seen better wedding photos or a wedding video. Even people that weren’t at our wedding reached out to tell us how cool our photos and video were. They captured the day and who we are beyond perfectly.”
