THE INSPO “We wanted our wedding to feel like a big celebration and felt really passionately about having bright colours to reflect our party vibe for the day. This meant bold-coloured bridesmaid dresses and flowers, followed by fun signage and some of our favourite things (Chappy’s Chips and Aperols!).
FAVE DEETS “The flowers by Tori Allen and bridesmaid dress colours were perfect as was the entertainment – Nathan from Melb Entertainment Co was a DJ, saxophinist and trombone player.”
LITTLE LOL “Sam deciding that we were doing a choreographed dance routine for the first dance (which he taught me the night before the wedding). Sam also jumped on the trombone at one point and wowed everyone with Mambo No. 5.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “Sam’s favourite moment was having our two-year-old daughter Millie run down the aisle to him right before I walked down the aisle. Co-incidentally my least favourite moment was trying to manage her before she walked down the aisle. Thank god for lollipops and my bridesmaids who were happy to sing The Ants Go Marching for 10 minutes.”
THE SUIT “M.J. Bale did the groom and groomsmen suits – it was such an easy experience.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “All our vendors were amazing! Our photographer Jess Nicholls and Scott of Cyan Wolves (videographer) were a great team and made us laugh all day/night.”
