Meet Rohan and Rees, or Ro to her loved ones. These two have known each other their whole lives, having first met in preschool! They started dating at the end of high school and married four years later at one of our all-time favourite venues Audley Dance Hall in the Royal National Park. From the get-go, Ro knew she would find her wedding-day fit from Aussie powerhouse designer Grace Loves Lace. And that she did, looking stunning in the Behati gown. Lucky for us, the happy couple enlisted the talents of Kieran Moore Photography to get the goods on camera and here we are today, sharing it with you! Scroll down for all the deets…
THE VENUE “We had a few venues in mind, but I think I had my heart set on Audley Dance Hall from the start. I just had to convince Rees that it was his idea as well! We spend a lot of time bushwalking in the Royal National Park, so it was a spot that already held lots of special memories for us.”
THE INSPO “We just wanted it to be a really light and fun day. We took the backdrop of Audley as our inspiration and went from there. Sage green for the bridesmaids dresses and lots of natives for our flowers.”
THE DRESS “The dress was really quick for me! We are both big on ethical, Australian-made fashion and I always wanted something a little bohemian, so I knew I would buy my dress from Grace Loves Lace. My sister spotted it in the showroom when we walked in, and as soon as I saw it, we all knew it was the one!”
REFERENCES “Audley Dance Hall had a really good list of vendors and that was how we found our amazing photographers Kieran Moore. And Grace Loves Lace popped up a lot when looking through Hello May and Pinterest for inspiration.”
