There are always a few weddings that linger a little longer in our hearts and Steph and Will’s is one of them. An intimate event of 14, organised in just over three months, it’s a dreamy coastal delight with inspiration everywhere you look (and a pretty epic Moët & Chandon champagne tower, too).

These folks were dressed by some of the best – a whimsical Grace Loves Lace two-piece for the bride, a dapper linen M.J. Bale suit for the groom – giving beachy romance by the sea. Our friend Janneke Storm popped on by to take the pics, which are just as beautiful as we’d expect from the talented photographer, and we can’t help giving this day a 13 out of 10.

FAVE DETAILSThe custom-painted fans by Sara Sidari placed on each seat at the ceremony were gorgeous; the flowers by Mondo Floral Designs were breathtaking; the coconut lime cake with a white chocolate ganache by Zoë Clark Cakes was amazing. All of the finer details you could see individually were perfect however, when it all came together, it was better than we could have imagined.”

THE DRESSMy ceremony dress was from Grace Loves Lace and my reception dress was Marquise Bridal. I absolutely loved both dresses however Megan at Marquise custom-made my dress within one week before the wedding as another dress I had planned to wear didn’t look as expected. Will’s suit was amazing. It was M.J. Bale coupled with R.M.Williams boots. He was just happy he didn’t have to wear a tie!”

MEMORABLE MOMENTWhen we caught sight of each other for the first time, we both just started laughing. I think we didn’t expect to be nervous because it was a small wedding with family but we definitely were. So seeing each other was magic, I will never forget Will’s face.”

WE’RE GLAD WE…I’m so glad we organised an ice cream truck (Wheel & Spoon) at the ceremony. I thought it might have been unusual, eating ice cream right after we said ‘I do’, but it was a novelty and everyone loved it! It was such a warm day, too, so it was a nice touch.”

STANDOUT VENDORSI didn’t have any bridesmaids but my makeup artist Carla Dyson really filled those shoes – she was amazing.”
